Dear staff members, partners, shareholders, and stakeholders of Prima Finance and Investments (PRIMAMFI),

I would like to thank all of us for the important milestones and achievements we reached in 2022. As a startup, we faced many challenges, including management gaps and a lack of expertise from our pioneering CEO, which caused some setbacks. We appreciate his contributions; however, the constraints opened our eyes to local realities and an excellent opportunity for change. Today, the results speak for themselves and are evident, among which are the following;

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) have been the cornerstone of our practice and have kept us in line with our mission and vision. We prioritized partnerships with organizations with a high proportion of young people and women to ensure these underserved groups benefit from our loans and products to tackle their financial challenges and support their social and economic empowerment.

In Cameroon, women earn 2.5% less than men, but over 50% of entrepreneurs are women. Indeed, our partnerships with the Buyam Sellam Association aim to provide a platform for women to access financial resources. Our goal of addressing unemployment was also evident through events that aimed to encourage entrepreneurship and facilitate cooperation among different stakeholders across companies.
